Il Design Exchange presenta 100% TobeUs, una mostra nata dalla mente dell’architetto italiano Matteo Ragni. Oltre 100 macchinine giocattolo disegnate da alcuni dei migliori designer e architetti di tutto il mondo. La versione canadese di 100% TobeUs comprende altri otto modelli prodotti con legno canadese. I talenti locali: Michael Green, Phillippe Malouin, Hariri Pontarini Architetti, Patty Johnson, Zoe Mowat, Tongtong, Normal Merci, Jonathan Sabine, Samare Studio e Megan Oldfield.
The Design Exchange presents 100% TobeUS, an exhibit from the mind of Italian architect Matteo Ragni. It features over 100 toy cars designed by some of the world’s best designers and architects. The Canadian version of 100% TobeUS includes an additional eight toy cars designed from Canadian ash wood, by local talents: Michael Green, Phillippe Malouin, Hariri Pontarini Architects, Patty Johnson, Zoe Mowat, tongtong, Normal Goods, Jonathan Sabine, Samare Studio and Megan Oldfield.
New York
Dopo le tappe di Milano e Toronto, la mostra 100% TobeUs visita NewYork per la Design Week. Il valore aggiunto di questa fase, che si svolge all’interno della piattaforma culturale NYCxDesign con la collaborazione dell’Industria City e WantedDesign, è l’introduzione di 9 nuove TobeUs progettate da 10 designer newyorkesi che hanno usato il legno di scarto lasciato dall’uragano Sandy.
I designer americani: Todd Bracher, Francois Chambard, Dror, Joe Doucet, David Weeks,Frederick McSwain, Fort standard, Marc Thorpe e Paul Loebach.
After stops in Milan and Toronto, the exhibition 100% TobeUs now pays a visit in NewYork for Design Week. The added value of this stage, which takes place within the cultural platform of NYCxDesign with the collaboration of Industry City and WantedDesign , is the introduction of 9 new TobeUs designed by 10 designers from New York who used the scrap wood left by Hurricane Sandy.

QuattroruoteDay
Per festeggiare i 60 anni della testata, il Quattroruote Day, Quattroruote ha affidato l’incarico di progettare una macchinina in legno TobeUs ad un giovane designer thailandese: Jennarong Muengtaweepongsa.
La macchinina entra così a far parte della collezione 100×100 TobeUs, in bella mostra il 4 febbraio 2016 presso l’Unicredit Pavilion di piazza Gae Aulenti a Milano.
For the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the newspaper, Quattroruote has entrusted the task of designing a wooden toy car TobeUs to a young Thai designer: Jennarong Muengtaweepongsa.
The toy car thus becomes part of 100×100 TobeUs collection, on display February 4th, 2016 at the Unicredit Pavilion, in Piazza Gae Aulenti, Milan.

Workshop
I workshop sono laboratori tenuti da Matteo Ragni, il fondatore di TobeUs, per bambini dai 4 ai 10 anni e i loro genitori. I partecipanti seguiranno le orme di alcuni dei più grandi designer del mondo lavorando con Matteo per creare il proprio modello My First ToBeUs da un kit di cartone. Questa è l’occasione perfetta per esporre i bambini al design divertendosi e creando un ricordo di una giornata memorabile!
Workshops are held by Matteo Ragni, the founder of TobeUs, for children ages 4 – 10 and their parents. Participants will follow in the footsteps of some of the world’s greatest designers by working with Matteo to create their own My First ToBeUs model from a cardboard kit. This is the perfect opportunity to expose kids to design while having fun and creating a keepsake of a memorable day!

Al Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia di Milano dal 5 dicembre 2012 al 13 gennaio 2013 è stata organizzata: “100% TobeUs: una mostra, un progetto, un manifesto”. L’idea progettuale nasce da Matteo Ragni che ha voluto invitare 100 designer di età ed esperienza molto diversa a disegnare la propria macchinina preferita, dando vita a una nuova collezione originale. Un progetto destinato a bambini creativi e adulti consapevoli, per i quali gli oggetti di affezione sono importanti, devono essere duraturi e testimoni di un messaggio da trasmettere alle nuove generazioni per un futuro sempre più sostenibile.
At the National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan from December 5 2012 to January 13 2013 was organized: “100% TobeUs: an exhibition, a project, a manifesto”. The project idea comes from Matteo Ragni who wanted to invite 100 designers of very different ages and experience to draw their favorite toy car, creating a new original collection. A project aimed at creative children and aware adults, for whom objects of affection are important, must be long-lasting and bear witness to a message to be transmitted to new generations for an increasingly sustainable future.

Fortezza
La mostra 100% TobeUs conquista il Forte di Fortezza percorrendo l’Autostrada del Brennero, che proprio negli spazi del Forte festeggia i suoi primi 50 anni.
Oltre a presentare le 111 automobiline disegnate da designer internazionali, la mostra mette in scena anche i risultati del workshop tenuto da Matteo Ragni alla Facoltà di Design e Arti. 14 studenti hanno disegnato nuovi modelli di automobiline originali e poi eseguito due tagli in un ceppo di legno di cirmolo locale di dimensione sempre uguale per realizzare artigianalmente la loro TobeUs.
The 100% TobeUs exhibition conquers the Fortress of Fortezza along the Brenner Motorway, which celebrates its first 50 years right in the spaces of the Fortress.
In addition to presenting the 111 cars designed by international designers, the exhibition also showcases the results of the workshop held by Matteo Ragni at the Faculty of Design and Art. 14 students designed new models of original cars and then made two cuts in a local pine wood stump of the same size to handcraft their TobeUs.
